Hello all,

My name's Kurt and I'm a n00b. I signed up on the NZ Airsoft Players forum (under the username SnakeEyes) the other day and thought I should also join here to get more info. My original intent was to just be a pistol collector but after having a chat to Darkman the other day I may look into actually playing.

My collection so far consists of a TM S&W PC356, TM Ruger KP85 and a TM Desert Eagle. Next purchases are looking to be a TM Desert Eagle .50AE Chrome Stainless GBB and a TM Mk23 SOCOM box set. Other than those, I haven't looked very far into larger weaponry and would appreciate any info or suggestions from anyone ^^

Side note: It never fails to amuse me how a previously normal "pistol collector" can be turned into a player after a simple conversation,during which the natural enthusiasm for the hobby we all have comes through and infects the "noob" (I hate that term) to such an extent they come and play. Its great!

Also,due to the fact it was Darky who got you into this,I have concerns for the sheep and small animals near your house now.
Whatever he told you about his other hobbies,remember,THAT is NOT OK!!!:D:D:D

- The local wildlife will be breathing a sigh of relief then, since I live in Hamilton City and not out in the country ;)

I actually got interested when I went to Japan, over 10 years ago, and the eldest son in the host family I was staying with had a Chrome Stainless Desert Eagle. We used to hang targets from the curtain railing and shoot out the window, but since Japanese houses are less than a metre apart the BBs kept ricocheting off the walls and would bounce back in the window :)

If things are going according to plan, the club G36C should be up for loan for $10 per event/day soon. Just need a set of safety glasses and a pair of decent footwear with good ankle support on your part, we'll even sort your safety glasses out if you have yet to have one. :)

Goggles are not a problem i for some reason have like 4 pairs and i don't even wear them lol. ill lend you a pair with the gun and mags etc.
