The BDUs are ANA and I think the Grad is the same. The colours are off anyway but apparently they change between production runs anyway LOL.

yeah they do to some extent but the actual pattern changes from manufacturer to manufacturer so if you keep it to the same company its normally pretty good

I have an MK23 holster and gun, the holster is horrible, way to big, i'm thinking of selling the whole lot if you want two :D

$250 +P&P, i paid $290, comes with 3 mags but 2 seem to leak, one badish and one slow leak, might be able to fix, i got the bought the leg holster for $50 US from redwolf, i'll have a go at fixing the mags.

Mags can be fixed with a bit off sealant round the base, one of the mags has a high flow valve.

Peripheral is suprisingly good actually, Albeit not as good as some of the more modern goggle types, but not so bad as to anoy you when you're wearing them.

Fogging was quite an issue originally due to the lack of ventilation in the goggles. but i fixed that by drilling ventillation holes through the lenses as seen. i also treated the lenses with shaving cream and they hardly fog at all now.

Black cam paint on the legs kinda supports the Rhodesian thing, cause they used to cover them selves with Black cam paint so at a distance they are hard to tell if they were black or white, so they werent shot on sight :P

You're right, its not denison, but is a pattern that was heavily influenced by it. The pattern there (forgive me for forgetting the name) is unique to the Rhodesian armed forces.

Actually I can't quite do that... I never got a picture showing it all, I think the most in the photos I have comes to about 91 guns. I finshed it off with 115, in the end.

Funny you should say at least I didn't drink and smoke it up... I kinda did that at the same time and, now, because I sold the entire collection bar three guns to travel around the world, I am now, largely, drinking it all back :D

Airlines and hotels take an even larger chunk of it, of course ;)

There are some coming up that are, actually, very nice shots, some I got at work in the yard using some washed roofing slate as a backdrop, and a few of my Hitman-style 1911s I used my brother's $3000 camera for, which turned out rather well.

But yeah, I used to have this lot, after getting it all I thought I'd rather go out and see the world instead of have a gigantic amount of stuff in my life. It's that whole `hippy` part of my life showing its colours.
I made up for it by drowning some puppies before I left though, which makes it all alright.

Re: the multi-gun thing; I was idly chatting with people on Arnies about making a 12-pistol rig for just that purpose, but I have found myself usually carrying either two of four guns most of the time. I actually got good use out of 4 sometimes, which isn't easy ;)

I remember a couple of times I didn't have time to reload so just pulled another one out and started plugging people, there's a great little story there in fact.

2 - machine gunner
3 - grenade launcher operator (think RPG, not GP-30 since there are no VOG pouches)

On the first picture from left to right the pouches are as follows:

AK-74 mags, flare, RGO and RGN hand grenades, below - VOG-25, shovel, mess kit, VOG-25, radio (alternatively AK-74 mags), knife, AK-74 mags

Fantastic weapon! takes about 3 minutes flat to change a spring, due to the quick take down and modular 2 pin design
The mech box has a awesome trigger system, that rearly jams, and is very smoth
Only major downfall is weight with EGLM luncher, probley wasnt the brightist puchase for someone thats still got a bung foot, but hay love is pain!

With the EGLM luncher attached the 3 point sling is a must!.. however because its so quick to remove or install when needed, it could also perhaphs be pracitical carring it in a alice pack
The other thing i found out on the feild the other day is the usefulness of being able to remove the barrel an a pinch
We were useing some very bad quilty aim bb's (bad batch i think) and i was able to remove & dislodge the jamed bb from the the barrel under fire and carry on the game with out any hassel.. enables you to be a far more valuble team member

The 2 piece KLMK uniforms in larger sizes are quite hard to come by... Mine is a missmatching set and is missing the detachable hood. It cost me $80USD, i payed too much, but i bought the winter ttsko with it for $53USD which was about 1/4 market rate for that item.

Another 2 piece KLMK uniform in unissued condition went for $75USD just recently with the hood and mask in larger size.

1 piece KLMK will generally cost you $70usd a piece and that is easier to find...

depending on your size i can hook you up with a 1 piece or 2 piece KLMK from the guy i bought most of that gear off, if you are interested.

Haha personally i feel russian combat gear for the late soviet union is rather backward, especially when you compare it to what the US was wearing at the time. But i really like the gear for something different and the collecting is a challenge.

Fun as to shoot,only good as a backup though,and the mags are expensive.I was lucky to get mine cheap from another club member with 3 mags.I don't regret my purchase,and I think of it a suitable Russian sidearm.:)

No idea how they're semied overseas,mine is a pre ban semi'd with the selector removed (and I don't have the selector)

Definitely would recommend for the sheer coolness,I actually ran around with this as a primary for maybe 2 months,worked well,you just need to get a bit closer.

Another thing to know is that the upper receiver rides up when you run it on propane (designed for hfc gayness),every couple of mags you give it a slap down and its all good:)

Brawler:Yes the gas is in the mags,its definitley a great system,just makes the mags kinda expensive at 35USD.Though being big they suffer from cooldown a bit if you fire quickly,once I fired the whole mag off and froze the mag to my hand hahahahahahah

Uh, someone asked about the revolver? Which one; the Western six-shooter would be a Tanaka silver 7.5" SAA (Single Action Army) which I know I posted, very chromed and shiny.
The massive one is a Marushin 8mm Constrictor, shell loading very cool and rather powerful. Totally worth the 8mm thing for the shell factor alone :D
All metal too and VERY heavy (plastic grip of course).

Someone said somethign about the Skorpion another chap posted too; it's a Maruzen not Marushin, VZ61 Skorp; seriously nice and, in the UK, incredibly rare.
I waited two years before one came on the market - yes, they are that rare - and then found two within two months. So I had a pair :D

Magazines cost almost as much as the gun in Britain (okay not quite, but about £40 - $100 each!!!) and the guns were both about £80 - £90 too, from memory, so with 6 magazines that made them some of the costliest single-handed pieces I had.

Very very cool though, loadsa fun.

if it seems stuck it'll probably be a very small grubscrew underneath the flash hider

they also have a tendency to use O-rings between the hider and the barrel itself to keep it snug. Makes for irritating times getting them off :P

that image was a teaser- I intentionally left it crappy (bad lighting in room, crap flash etc).. you just cannot make out the colours of the gear or of the g36 :(

That AK started life as AK47S - I think both glenn, warren, and others have had their mits on it at some stage.. it is a 'silhouette' AK104 - but I think I will be putting the faux wood grips back on... more distinctive... or I may just steel wool those black grips and do it that way. :)

I would recommend that you look for a rail and then ACOG it. Why? because that is what the SUSAT is being replaced with.
