weapon questions for complete newby

Hi all, I have owned a softair pistol (springer) for quite some time now, and am looking to come along to a club meet, however I wanted to know if the weapons used in the game are springers or gas powered or if there are certain regulations, as my springer has got very little range compared to my friends gas powered gun...

Hi Jono,

Most of us at ASA tend to use semi automatic electric guns (SEG for short), a few have gas pistols as back up and there are a couple of budding snipers that use spring powered.

Check out our events section at www.airsoftauckland.co.nz and rent a SEG g36 for the day to see what its like is probably the best way to answer 99% of your questions.

Hi Jono.b, our advice is come to a game so you can try a range of different guns. Ask questions. And the club armourer can sort something out for you :)
