Are people scared of the "New Thread" button or something?

I'm keen to see some good impressions, post up here. Don't forget reference picture (If you have one) and kit list.

ok heres a collarge of kiwi gear, just the basics for now...I have the classic Airfix 1:72 scale 8th army pose [my shorts are off colour as I dont have the right type! and wearing 1941 dated helmet], cold weather moment with M40 German helmet [Luftwaffe, original], the sadness of Cassino [was a bad pic!] showing standard basic kit and wearing 1940 dated helmet. last pic stroll in Cairo, with repro lemon squeezer hat made off the original felt molds and webbing 1937 pattern utilisling web gear dated 42' and 43' the small pack is 1953 dated as I have not picked up an earler pack but is identical in pattern except for the colour and extra buckle loop, 1907 bayonet in quite possibly ww1 era scabbard as they were used this has the tear drop button hook opposed to the round button hook, the entreanching tool pouch is of Canadian make which stands out buy the weave of the canvas, tool dated 1915. Everything except for the Uniform/s, small pack and boots is ww2 original and dated. The great coat is 1941 dated made in Wellington. Most is maked with the broad arrow, the rifle is a #1 mk3 SMLE .303 1918 NZ marked. think thats all I have other bits and peices as well...:p

My "Jarhead" loadout, minus my M16... based on the woodland gear used by US forces around time of Gulf War 1. I don't have Alice webbing, I have a early 90's chest rig I've seen used with the vest, but it's not strictly Jarhead so I haven't included it:)
The reference pic is from Jarhead and the other one is my bad decision to sometimes have a Jarhead! click to make bigger

Reproduction Shin Gunto (NCO Sword)
Airsoft Type 14 Nambu

Type 38 still has intact mum, all matching serial numbers with the exception of the serial number on the dust cover, it has had a strange modification done to the grip, i was told this was most likely done by a kiwi soldier but have no way of knowing for sure, i am in the process of tracking down a new (used) stock but because of this i got the rifle for a bargin price.

Some more for the WW2 Brit revival! Good thing about kit from this era is that a basic loadout can easily be adjusted for specialised units.

Desert smock is actually a civilian lookalike I managed to pick up dirt cheap, but it does the trick if you disregard some minor details. Webbing and helmets are original (webbing is all war dated, helmets are both post war, but only just), ammo boots are repros by WPG, snow cap is SOF repro, P40 Battledress trousers and blouse are by Spearhead Militaria and the Denison is a Combat_1984 repro. The M1A1 Thompson is a Cyma, with P37 sling. And yes, I would prefer a Lee Enfield.

Now I need some outdoor photos.

Here’s Candy’s new Russian special forces Saboteur load out from the Second Chechen War.

As always, his attention to fine historical detail really pays off.

The period correct frosted tip mullet and private purchase, form fitting shell suit in Russian national colours really finish this loadout off.

The jacket pockets can hold x4 high cap AK mags, a plastic 750ml bottle of homebrew Vodka and a well worn vintage 1999 copy of Playboy.

He is on the lookout for some white, Adidas trainers and either a "Choose Life" or a Frankie Goes To Hollywood "RELAX" T shirt to complete the look if any one out there happens to have one stashed away.
