Hi all, i just started this sport, now a weapon question----I have been offered a src g36kv at a good price from a mate, so I know its in good working order, problem is it has to be sent from overseas(australia),it's modded for semi auto only, so hopefully wont have any probs with customs.It needs a battery and mate has been using a 9.6 volt nimh, or would a 8.4 do the job, any comments please?

go for it mate, maby switch the battery, depends what you can fit aye, the old 8.4 minis do the job man but if you can get a large type in there go for it.

How did he get it into Australia? does he have all the relevant paper work? then if he does he should be able to send it no worries.

You can import Airsoft weapons into Australia with a mountain of paper work and money and months of waiting, but you cannot under no circumstance fire or use it. You might need to follow up on this and find out.

I know airsoft is banned in australia, i think ill just source a gun from a club or from the internet to be on the safe side.:cool:
