Since I got my gun my dad wants one, can he buy though redwolf. Or does he need to get one from with-in New Zealand?

Also is the a Tax/customs fee when buying things like Mag's from over-sea's

He can purchase from redwolf. But get it through a club armourer. He can help you with importing it or could get you one thats alreasy in the country. there is no tax on mag that I know of. Mine got through fne.

You need to speak to an armourer, there is GST and dutys on anything over $400 NZ and the postage is included in that price, snipershot this isn't the kind of question you should be answering.

Your dad can buy guns off of Redwolf no problem, just make sure if its an AEG, that is will be converted to semi-auto.

sheed, if you don't mind the cost by all means get from Redwolf, their service is excellent but you really pay it (charging U$35-50 for what is at most a 15 minute jobbie for most guns is obscene + ~U$75 U$S&H for what is usuallly U$60 for most ~4kg EMS Speedpost packages).

The armourer system is voluntarily put in place by ASNZ to expedite the inspection, QA and feedback process between the authorities but as a perk since most armourers also know what's the best bang for the buck they also know where and how to cut cost for new guys that want to get into the sport.
