Hi
I'm really new to air soft.
I'm looking for a semi auto mp5, between that ranged of 100-200$. I was looking at the Tokyo Marui MP5A5 Boys, but its illegal here because its fully auto.
I'm open to any suggestions.
thanks

Your profile says your 14. This means supplying you would be illegal.
For that price, i can only think of the 'galaxy' brand. Which most people on here will suggest you stay away from.
not to mention that the BOYS series is intended for that age for Japan - I don't know of it being skirmished properly outside of perhaps japan and some backyard stuff in the States

As a starter gun i dont think galaxy is too bad, but your much better off getting JG, they look cool too
Regarding the age issue, yeah your too young to own your own gun according to our laws sorry, but if you contact your local club i believe you will be allowed to play with them and be able to handle a gun under the supervison of a well... supervisor :)
Again best bets to contact your local club :)

JG (Jing Gong) are Tokyo Mauri replicas, they seem gud enough for a starter, but i cant talk 2 much ive only had mine for about 3 days but im in love wif it lol. yes u can modify the TM to fire semi-auto but do talk 2 your local club theyd be happy 2 help :)

galaxy is no good for a starter. Realistically they need way to much done to them before they will operate. Also realistically you'll never get one for under 200NZ, especially at the current rate.
cully, you realise gud is not actually a word right?
