Ok so I just got my desert eagle today what is needed to be done to keep a weapon clean and in good working order or general maintenance?
just keep it clean.
Spray some 100% silicone spray into the gas flow unit every now and then.. not all the time.
and occasional spray into the hammer/bits/area inside.
maybe a hint along the rails.
in short. .not much.
Don't drop it. :)

So silicone spray is best to keep them lubricated.

yep dont use anything thats petroleum based otherwise they eat your seals. Try not to get the barrel or hopup siliconed otherwise it will be unaccurate as shit.

I also find if you have a cleaning rod for it get a little patch of cloth and swab the barrel dont use any silicone, as every bit of fluff and crap around will put up residence in there
its helps to stop the barrel from getting scratched which murders accuracy
If you dont have a cleaning rod a thin bit of sring with the cloth tied to one end works just and well
